The Texas Youth Commission (TYC) is divided statewide into four regions. The agency operates 12 secure facilities in ten locations, nine halfway houses, and a number of parole and quality assurance district offices throughout the state. Additionally, TYC contracts with private providers and local government entities for a variety of specialized programs and services.
