McFadden Ranch

McFadden Ranch is a community-based residential program located in Roanoke, Texas, in Denton County. The program provides care and treatment of juvenile offenders.

Treatment focuses on making lasting lifestyle changes. Youth at McFadden Ranch attend school on site. The school is a part of the Northwest Independent School District. Additionally, youth obtain vocational and social skills training, individual and group mentoring, GED tutoring, faith-based mentoring on a voluntary basis, and a variety of transitional support planning services. Youth at McFadden are referred to community service projects and can be streamlined into job placement on and off campus.

The staff at McFadden are committed in their efforts to actively involve the family members of each youth in the treatment planning. At least once a year, with the assistance of the McFadden Advisory Council, Family Day is held at the program.
